Four nations, one ocean
The south of the plate is ice: the Southern Water Tribe and the Southern Air Temple on the Patola range above it. The north pole mirrors that — Northern Water Tribe across the water from the Northern Air Temple. The Earth Kingdom fills the east and centre. Ba Sing Se is the city of two walls. Omashu is the mountain city to the west of that plain. The Fire Nation is the island chain on the west: capital, colonies, and the sea that Aang crosses.
Air Temples sit at the four corners of the sky. Kyoshi Island is off the Earth Kingdom’s south-east. The Foggy Swamp is inland water. Book One, Two, and Three each have a filter so you can follow Aang’s first year without Korra’s later pins on top. Those later years start hidden.
