West is the Sea, east is the black land
Lindon and the Gulf of Lhûn hold the west coast. The Shire, Bree, and Weathertop sit in Eriador, west of the Misty Mountains. Rivendell is the house in those foothills. Rohan is the horse grass south of Fangorn. Helm’s Deep is the fortress in the White Mountains, Edoras the hall on the open slope. Minas Tirith stands where those mountains meet the Anduin, looking at Mordor.
Settlements and landmarks stay on. Rivers, plains, and mountain names start hidden so the keeps stay readable. Open them when you are tracing the Anduin or a range.
Games
Prove you know The Lord of the Rings. 176 named pins sit on this plate. Name a still, drop a pin on a place, or read a blurb. Repeated marks — stars, chests, the same name twice — stay out of the round.
